Western food

Setiap hari aku dengan hubby buat rules, makan nasi satu hari sekali sahaja, melainkan hujung minggu dan selalunya kitaorang makan nasi waktu tengahari. Malamnya pulak selalunya makan roti tak pun tosei, capati atau roti nan. Bila dah selalu sangat makan roti, rasa muak pulak, jadi satu malam tu aku try la buat western food kekononnya.

Sebab Nurin suka sangat makan udang, aku buatkan dia 'prawns and chips', tapi bila dia nampak kepak, itu pun dia nak juga, ok la bagi kat dia sebab kepak tu lembut sket.

Ni pulak untuk hubby, 'chicken grilled with salad and steamed potato and carrot" dicurah dengan black pepper sauce. Selalu orang guna bahagian paha ayamkan? Sebab hubby suka bahagian dada (dada ayam eh...eerr 'dada' lain pun suka gak..opsss!), jadi aku guna dada ayam, bahagian tulang aku ambil sebab aku tak suka part isi nih.

Hubby kata ok, cuma ayam tu keras sket, walau pun sehari sebelum ayam tu dimarinate, puas aku tumbuk daging tu dengan lesung batu, hubby ler kata, boleh lembut kat ayam tu. Tapi aku rasa part isi ni memang keras kalau dimasak, jadi makan je la.

Korang lak, apa yang korang suka makan kalau pergi restoran western food?

saya makanan western ni x berapa sangat. tapi kalau orang2 western saya sukaaa sekali!

especially wentworth miller yg berlakon prison break tu. hahaha

ana suke chicken cordon bleu. Isi ayam tu digulung, dalamnye ade cheese dgn chicken ham. pastu celup telur, salutkn dgn serbuk roti, goreng rendam! serve with salad and fries gemok2 style nandos. hehe. curah with black pepper sauce. yum yum yum.

btw, isi ayam tu keras sket psl masak terlama sket kot? ikut pengalaman ana, time marinate gaul skali with olive oil (byk2 pn xpe, style jamie oliver tu)dgn jus lemon/limau. jd die ade dpt sket fat utk remain moist, while the juice break up the protein (ye ke ni?hehe). bile ade dua benda ni, perap dlm 2 jam pn da ok. just my two cents :)

Dont tell me this is your 1st trial masak western noha,rupa sebijik mcm yg kat restoran!aku pun terliur gak ni!camne ko grill ayam tu?pakai microwave eh?black papper sauce tu yg instant ke buat sendiri?aku kalu mkn westernfood mesti yg chicken based punya,chickenchop ke,chicken fujitas ke,daging ni kureng skit,sbb tu aku pun jarang order steak,pizza pun ok-tp lately ni slalu crave for pasta with cheese gravvy,see i tell u mesti nak yg lemak berkrim punya hihi

hi kak noha! nuraini big fan of chicken chop! tp x suke bile pgi restoran, order chicken chop, depa buat chicken chop yg goreng salut tepung tu...i like my chicks grilled, bebeh!

and my fav western food is spaghetti bolognaise+lasagne. my own spaghetti cooking is gd enuff-letak mushroom,daging sume,melted cheese on top when served; often order kat restoran depa siram sos atas mee nye aje dah kne byr S$5 wei!

ju : ni resepi org malas sebenarnya, kalau masak nasi nak kena masak lauk pauk, kalau salad takyah tenggek atas api, potong sana, potong sini, curah mayo...tak ke malas namanya tu hehehhe...ayam pun grilled je atas frying pan...siap!

mar : heheh...sorry, ni ler first time, salad tu mmg biasa sebab aku ngan hubby, parents aku, in laws, adik2 dan adik ipar mmg suka salad2 nih...sebab tu biasa, tapi chicken grilled ni first time buat sendiri, selalu tumpang adik2 ipar aku, ana nngan syeda

black papper sauce buat sendiri, lagi muai, nak pedas sket ke, nak masam sket ke, nanti aku update ngan resepi, very easy...nak yg lemak berkrim pun bole! :)

spaghetti bolognaise my fav too, lebih suka buat sendiri, semua nak bole letak, carrot, daging, seleri, mushroom everything u cn put inside....hehehe...sedap kan?

tapi lasagne yg paling sedap, kak ana le yg buat...hhuuii...lemak berkrim, lepas makan rasa 'berdosa' sgt...rasa cam taubat tak nak makan lagi...tapi kalau ada bedal gak...heheh
